Polly Gibbons and Danny Keane tracks steal the show on Hackney Colliery Band stormer

Streets ahead

It's not really your typical jazz rhythm section. Lol.

But there are lots of jazzers keeping Hackney Colliery Band company.

The come-all-ye brass party starters have been around for yonks playing loads of big festivals in the broader music scene milieu.

Collaborations: Volume Two out just before Halloween is as raucous and closely arranged as you'd expect.

Mulatu player Danny Keane on 'Ajoyo' and 'Eleventy Three' steals the show. And other featured guests include soulfully dynamic jazz singer Polly Gibbons and Ezra Collective keys maven Joe Armon-Jones who is pretty engaging on his co-write 'New Opening' which is streaming.
