Published on the website of Europe Jazz Network this week is a call for an “immediate end to the genocide, the killing of innocent civilians and an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza.”

Signed by members of this long established European Union co-funded international promoters and producers’ organisation, the text continues: “We advocate for unhindered humanitarian access in affected territories, the release of all hostages, demand accountability for violations of international law and condemn the targeting of Palestinian cultural heritage.”

The signatories pledge to “undertake to use the platforms available within our individual organisations’ activities to amplify the calls of trusted humanitarian agencies for lasting peace in Palestine and in the whole Middle East region.
