Lit up inside Dublin 8-piece Lavery (7 June, Chapel Arts Centre), latin-jazz veterans Roberto Pla and his Latin Ensemble (4 June, Komedia) and post-triphop Ornette Coleman and Don Cherry loving Bristolians Get the Blessing (Komedia, 2 June) are in the line-up of the 2024 Bath Festival Fringe later this spring. Lavery's 'What I Want' from their debut EP Jade Garden comes out next week.

Members of the band who take their name from a painting of Sir John Lavery's wife Lady Hazel and her daughter and step-daughter seen by the band's singer Anelise Furkin in the National Gallery of Ireland include Furkin, guitarist Taylor Bailey, bass guitarist Aido Kimura Mooney, keyboardist Kaelan Zipoli, drummer Keith “KJ” Jordan, saxophonists Richard Ng & Rory Fleming and trombonist Martin Farrelly.
