He LOVES jazz and marlbank is all about expressing a love for this great music in a number of different hopefully readable ways.

Yesterday's "hill" climbing playlist finds room for balladic jazz both modern and trad inclined rooted in classic song, folk, torchsong and classic pop, rock & even the quaint Cinderella curve ball choice of the frequently critically dumped upon country 'n' Irish genre to rub along ingeniously well together.
"Hill" inspired - do listen in sequence if you can spare the time for maximum pleasure rather than dipping in and out like wee Dympna dicking about on the decks or like most of us disconsolately scrolling all the time on the all you can eat sonic buffet platters that abound. Because traversing a number of styles we kept something quite extraordinary that builds at the end which kind of works. You'll know it when you get there, that's 'Die on a Hill' marvellously vulnerable, warts and all soulful the work of Amy-meets-Raye chanteuse de nos jours the twentysomething Sienna Spiro, pictured, where she belongs, top.
